Studio Maternity Session - Columbus Ohio Maternity Photographer

This beautiful mama to be called me inquiring about a maternity session. I was technically booked, but I just have the hardest time turning anybody away, especially maternity and newborn clients. So we squeezed in a mini maternity session at the studio and OMG, she was amazing! I can't even decide which I like best. She showed up with her hair and makeup done and we provided the outfits. Many people don't know that we have many wonderful items for all of our maternity mamas to use.

Twice as Precious - Newborn twins photographer Columbus, Ohio

When these two's mama contacted me about doing their newborn photos, I was technically booked for August, but OMG I can't ever turn down twins. I just adore photographing two precious little babies together. Posing them holding hands and snuggling is just the most heartwarming and absolutely precious things I get to witness in my profession. And these two little guy's were no exception. Seriously, they made my job so easy and just made me swoon like crazy each time I posed them.

Mom came in today for her ordering session and I got to see them again. Both were sleeping like the little angels they are. I'm so excited to watch them grow up!

A Buckeye and a Bear - Newborn photographer Columbus, Ohio

With a former Ohio State Buckeye and NFL football player for a daddy, we just had to incorporate some football and OSU themed props into this guy's session. While he made the most adorable little buckeye for sure, mom just absolutely fell in love with the shots of him as a little bear. I have to admit, I did too. This little bear was just a sweetheart for his session and just look at how much mommy and daddy adore him!

And baby makes 4 - Newborn Photographer Columbus, Ohio

Watching families grow is one of the best parts of my job. Having the opportunity to photograph a couple's first child is amazing, but then getting to watch that child become a big sibling with the birth of a couple's second child... it is truly such an honor.

This beautiful family was no exception. Congratulations again on your beautiful family of 4!

German Village Baby Bump - Maternity photography Columbus, Ohio

When this lovely couple contacted me about doing maternity photos, I knew the perfect spot. One of my favorite places in German Village. Ooh it was just the most amazing evening and I couldn't be happier with how they turned out. Mama was 38 weeks pregnant and walked in the summer heat from downtown to this quaint little hidden gem. And a little over a week later they welcomed their precious baby girl. I'll be posting teasers of that little beauty in the next few days, but for now here are a few of my favorites from their maternity session.

Welcome Baby G - Columbus, Ohio Newborn Photographer

To say that July passed me by in a flash is an understatement. Moving my new studio completely last minute and unplanned definitely made for a crazy month. Not to mention I'm trying to get ready for the fall, which is typically my busiest time of year and also get my own little one ready to start kindergarten in a few short weeks (sniff..sniff). But now that I am all settled in and finally getting used to the new space I'm hoping August proves to be a little more calm.... I'm not going to hold my breath lol!

This beautiful family was my very first shoot in the new space. This precious little guy was just perfect and helped me fall right back into my groove. He slept so well for the first half of his session and then woke up a little, and ooh my goodness... Did he give me the best expressions ever! I love me some sleepy babies, but when they wake up for a few shots and are as simply as adorable and expressive as this... be still my heart!

Last little one in the old space - Newborn Photographer Columbus, Ohio

Last month I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful little girl and her mommy and daddy. It was an extra special shoot for me because it was my last session in my old studio. I am so excited to be in my new larger space, but I will always be grateful for the old space that served me so well for the past 2 years. I moved into that space just a few months after my 2nd daughter was born and it was really the beginning of my focus as a newborn and children's photographer. My business took off after having a space of my own and I will always remember the first time I walked in and realized it was mine. And what a perfect family to capture as my last in that very special space.

Looking at these images of this adorable family just reminds me of how truly blessed I am to wake up and do this everyday. I'm looking forward to making more memories for all of you in my new space for many years to come.
